Mumford & Sons and Friends – Watch Again
So with the good ship Mumford & Sons anchored in home-London seas for a few days, the band last night had the opportunity to host their own curated concert, which was at the same time their last gig on UK turf for a while…
At Cecil Sharp House in London the band gathered some of their musical compadres, namely Laura Marling, The Maccabees and Bombay Bicycle Club, for the BBC Radio 1 event Mumford & Sons and Friends.
As well as being broadcast live on the radio, the concert was also video streamed in its entirety via bbc.co.uk/radio1. We see from below that some of you managed to catch it (you lovely lot, what a lot of lovely comments!)
Unfortunately for those of you reading this from outside the UK, last night was your only chance to watch it. However UK friends can can watch the whole concert from pretty much start to finish here, including the final collaborations with Laura (for ‘Jolene’) and The Maccabees (for ‘The Real Thing’). Also find over there a link to the documentary, which looked at how this community of musicians has stumbled onto the airwaves and found itself at the center of such events.
All from everywhere can view the photos.
