Mumford & Sons, Laura Marling and Dharohar Project EP to get a US release
*Updated – physical release details: So there’s been a bit of juggling on the physical release front – there’s good news and not as good news (we’re a cup half full kinda web dweller). The good news is – the physical version of the EP will in fact be in the form of a vinyl. The not such good news is that the vinyl will be coming in the new year as opposed to 7th December (when the digital version will be available from). We will keep you updated on the release date and retail info as soon as we hear word… *
So US folks, listen up: remember a while back we announced the UK release of the band’s collaborative EP with Laura Marling and Dharohar Project? Well we are pleased to deliver you the news that it has now been confirmed for release over your way…
The EP features 4 recordings Mumford & Sons and Laura Marling laid down in Delhi with Rajasthani folk collective Dharohar Project during their tour of India last year. Tracklisting as follows:
1. Devil’s Spoke / Sneh Ko Marg
2. To Darkness / Kripa (listen to a clip on YouTube)
3. Anmol Rishtey
4. Mehendi Rachi
The EP will be available as both a physical release and via iTunes US from 7th December.
And while we’re on this note... you’ll most likely be aware of those fine fellows of film Fred & Nick by now (almost the 5th & 6th ‘Sons) from their Gentlemen Of The Road videos. The duo also accompanied the band to India, resulting in a number of pieces which have been up online for a while.
