Please Don’t Buy Tickets For Our Shows From Secondary Websites
We want to keep this simple, because if we go into the detail it will get very complicated and the main point will get lost. So here goes. As you know we’ve tried really hard to fight against scalpers, touts and brokers buying our tickets to sell on to you all at an inflated price. We’ve run lotteries to make sure only fans got access to pre-sales, we’ve given evidence to UK Parliament about terrible experiences our fans have had buying tickets from secondary sites, we’ve been a driving force in the FanFair campaign to end scalping, and plenty more besides. The main message is: DON’T BUY OUR TICKETS FROM SECONDARY WEBSITES SUCH AS STUBHUB, VIAGOGO, CRAIGSLIST, EBAY, VIVID TICKETS & GUMTREE. We can’t guarantee they’ll be real or that you’ll get them for the price we intended. DO BUY THEM VIA OUR WEBSITE.
Now here’s where it gets a little more complicated. In some parts of the world brokers and scalping are actively regulated against on a Government level, in others we have to employ the best strategies we can to keep them away. To get really specific for a moment about the US. On this tour we will be offering dynamically priced Platinum tickets through Ticketmaster. These tickets will be limited and will be priced in such a way as to help keep the average market price of our tickets on secondary sites as low as possible. At our request Ticketmaster will be turning off TM+ for our tickets and instead we will be using a service we’ve used before called Lyte to allow fans the ability to sell their tickets to other fans. All profits from tickets sold through Platinum or via Lyte that would have come to the band will instead be put into the Gentlemen of the Road Fund to be invested in charities around the world. (More details in the Gentlemen Of The Road section).
Please always check www.mumfordandsons.com for the best way to buy tickets and for details of fan-to-fan resale sites. If you genuinely can’t make the show having bought tickets, use those services to safely sell to other fans. These details vary from city to city as well as country to country, so please check the website or follow the links below for the best way to get hold of safe, fairly-priced tickets.
The Delta Tour is the most extensive & ambitious tour we’ve ever done and we can’t wait to see you on the road. If you haven’t seen your part of the world announced just yet, don’t panic and stay tuned for more to come.
